How Aussies are spending their internet minutes

If someone asked you what you spend all your internet time on, would you know?

Australians are big internet users, spending on average five hours and four minutes each and every day on a web-connected device.

Not only that, our addiction to social media continues to grow. The number of active social media users has continued to increase by +5.9% and the number of mobile social media users has increased by +6.7%.

Facebook still tops the social media platforms with 15 million Australians actively using it. It is still has 2/3rds more users than Instagram, and more than 3 x the users of LinkedIn.

It is no surprise then that the best realtors use Facebook to reach more clients. It adds a further dimension to the property marketing mix, reaching out to potential a buyer and sellers – even those who aren’t actively looking…yet.
